India Developing Indigenous Stealth Combat Drone ‘Ghatak’ with Long-Range Strike Capability
India is developing an indigenous unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) named Ghatak UCAV, according to information released by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The platform is designed to strengthen the country’s future air combat capabilities through advanced stealth and long-range strike features. The Ghatak UCAV is being developed with a flying-wing design, a configuration intended to reduce radar visibility and improve survivability in contested airspace.
