PM-Kisan 22nd Installment Released: ₹2,000 to Be Credited to Eligible Farmers
The 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) is being released today, with ₹2,000 set to be credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers across India.
According to official information, Narendra Modi is transferring the funds during a program in Assam. The installment is expected to benefit around 9.32 crore farmers nationwide.
Under this installment, the government is releasing a total amount of approximately ₹18,640 crore through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. Each eligible farmer will receive ₹2,000 as part of the financial support provided under the scheme.
Launched in 2019, the PM-Kisan scheme provides income support to eligible farmer families across the country. Beneficiaries receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, which are transferred directly to their bank accounts.
Farmers who want to check whether they will receive the latest installment can verify their details on the official PM-Kisan portal. The website allows beneficiaries to check their status by entering their Aadhaar number, bank account details, or registered mobile number.
Officials have advised beneficiaries to ensure that their bank accounts are correctly linked with Aadhaar and that their registration details are updated to avoid delays in receiving payments.
